Old Newham Farm Holiday Cottages

North Cornwall
is wild and rugged, with a fresh and invigorating climate. High ground and clean, clear air give panoramic views over great distances of land and sea.
Steep hills and deep-wooded valleys are sprinkled with the colours of gorse and heather.
If you love peace, tranquility and the great outdoors, then you will relish North Cornwall’s dramatic coastline, quiet leafy lanes and vast expanses of open access moorland.

The countryside’s ancient landscape is still a backdrop for medieval churches, ancient castles, crosses and holy wells, and you can still find evidence of prehistoric civilisations, and – if you look hard enough, perhaps – the legends of piskies and King Arthur.

Close to the farm you’ll find rocky coves and traditional fishing villages such as Boscastle, Tintagel and Port Issac, and the less-known (but equally as beautiful) Crackington Haven and Duckpool. Choose your favourite location to stop to watch the sun set over the western horizon.

While you won’t find large-scale traditional tourist attractions close by, there are plenty of notable destinations within easy reach. The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project are about an hour away, Pencarrow, Bodmin Moor and Lanhydrock are all within about 25 miles drive.

Wherever you decide to visit, each time you return to Old Newham Farm you’ll be struck by the peace and tranquility of our location. And if you remember, step outside at night to see more stars than you’ll ever dream of seeing from a town or city.
